Summary
A range of strategies, tools and resources will be explored and there will be ample opportunity to work in collaboration with other participants to develop teaching and learning approaches covered during the course, with a focus on A level topics and enhancing the experience for post-16 students. This course is suitable for teachers and lecturers who are reasonably confident in their subject knowledge.
Outcomes
You will be able to:
- understand more about the researched benefits of active learning approaches
- draw on a wider range of techniques, strategies and pedagogies to improve your students’ knowledge and understanding of core concepts
- facilitate both collaborative and independent learning in your A level classes
