Summary

Cornwall Teaching School and Cornwall Science Learning Partnership are pleased to announce a new science network for early career primary teachers. This session will focus on ‘Going Cross Curricular with the Vikings’.

This hands-on workshop will look at working scientifically by linking science to topic work, literacy and numeracy. Whilst using the Vikings as an example, activities will be creative and transferable e.g. fire extinguisher to show an irreversible reaction for the ‘Viking to put a fire out’ but can be used in conjunction with teaching liquids solids and gases etc.

Whilst aimed at NQTs and RNQTs it is open to all primary school teachers.
