Summary

Effective teaching of scientific enquiry is central to developing children's ideas, skills, knowledge and understanding in science. This hands on session looks at the progression of working scientifically from EYFS to Upper Key Stage 2.

You will be able to implement strategies for planning, resourcing and organising a range of types of enquiry in order to improve children's outcomes.

This course comprises of 2 half day sessions, the second session is on 25th November 2019. You will receive a discount code for you to book on the second session for free when you attend this session.

Outcomes

You will be able to:

  • demonstrate increased knowledge of progression in scientific enquiry
  • implement a wide range of strategies for planning, resourcing and organising enquiry
  • appreciate the different types of enquiry children can engage in to explore the world around them
