Engaging science in Primary RD109 / C02
Science provides a context through which play-based learning activities can develop children's skills and knowledge and understanding of their world. You will try out ideas for practical science that can be used with young children to develop a range of scientific skills and explore the opportunities these activities offer to promote children's social skills as they work in small groups.
You will be able to:
- demonstrate the value of purposeful play
- implement a range of ideas and activities to enhance children’s early science experiences
