Summary

Focusing on the mathematical requirements for level 3 science courses. Identify the maths skills that cause issues and why learners struggle with certain concepts. Develop an understanding of common misconceptions and establish practical strategies to support the teaching of mathematical components of different science courses at level 3.

  • develop strategies and pedagogical methods to overcome barriers to learner’s progress
  • utilise pedagogical methods to improve the outcomes of learners
