Summary

Designed to support senior leaders in their line management of STEM curriculum areas, this CPD will develop your understanding of key priorities in STEM subject areas to support the improvement of teaching within your school context.

Led by experienced STEM experts, you will be supported to ensure that you have the tools you need to bring about change. The CPD will consider  the new Ofsted framework with specific reference to STEM curriculum areas, embedding effective assessment and progression into curriculum design and teaching, enrichment and enhancement, raising awareness of STEM careers and developing a vision for STEM within your school.

Outcomes

The course is designed to help line managers of STEM Curriculum areas :

  • to understand the STEM Education landscape and
  • to help curriculum areas develop their STEM priorities
  • to support senior leaders to increase the confidence of subject leaders and teachers to achieve outstanding STEM outcomes for pupils
