Summary
Engage pupils with the unexpected! In this session you will explore practicals and demonstrations that create cognitive conflict, can be used to uncover misconceptions, and get pupils talking. Our Senior technician will show you how to run effective and thought provoking demonstrations with equipment and materials that are inexpensive and readily available.
Outcomes
You will:
- develop the teaching and assessment of working scientifically in your school
- develop your schemes of work/learning in order to enhance the teaching and learning of science in your school
