Project planning essentials for technical staff - Invitation only HC004 / H02

This workshop is aimed at technicians involved in running small to medium sized projects in the workplace who have had little or no project management training. The workshop will focus on planning as the foundation for successful project management and participants will take away an accessible, flexible and scalable framework for planning projects, covering:
- project overview
- project scope
- project unknowns
- project interactions
- project breakdown
- project control
- project schedule
Outcomes
By the end of the session, you will:
- be able to recognise when a piece of work would benefit from a structured, planned approach
- have worked through the essential elements of a project plan and applied them to a simple fictional project
- have considered how you might apply the project planning essentials to your own work based projects

We offer 1 free place for every 10 bookings, and 2 for groups of 15 or above.
