Summary

This is the first meeting of a new STEM network launching in South Essex. 
The session will be a chance for collaboration and networking with other STEM leaders and teachers. 

  • Discuss what STEM looks like in your school, develop your STEM action plan, share information, resources and themes more.
  • Agenda topics will also include exploring ways of enriching your STEM content, e.g. effective use of STEM ambassadors, events/competitions and STEM clubs.

The meeting is free to attend but booking in advance is essential. 

Outcomes

You will be able to:

  • work collaboratively to identify priorities in science teaching and learning and in science-specific professional development for your teams
  • share and develop strategies to tackle these issues, drawing on expertise as needed from outside the network
