Summary
The session is the first of 4 to support teachers early in their career or new/returning to teaching the new science GCSEs. Future sessions will cover, Chemistry misconceptions and maths requirements, literacy demands and practical skills in the new GCSEs. It is an opportunity to work with other teachers to discuss your development and share top tips.
Outcomes
You will be able to:
- to reflect on the biology aspects of the new science GCSE and identify common student misconceptions.
- to explore the teaching of the maths content for the new GCSE biology content.
- to network with other teachers to develop your teaching of GCSE Biology.
