Summary

With the first examination of the new 9 to 1 graded science GCSEs in June 2018, the Science Learning Partnerships have drawn together a series of workshops to help you and your science teams prepare your students and yourselves as we approach the examination season. 

Sessions will include:

  • from practical to paper
  • how the questions reflect the practical skills
  • supporting extended writing
  • developing maths skills

Outcomes

You will be able to:

  • develop strategies to support students to reach their potential

  • work with other local schools for networking and sharing ideas

  • take away hints and tips to help you prepare for the exams

Notes

The course is designed as 2 streams of workshops and to get the most out of the day, it is recommended that 2 staff members from a school attend,  one to cover each strand, and that this is taken back to the school for sharing and implementation in the classroom

Additional information
