Summary
Focusing the pupils’ recording of practicals on the learning objectives releases time for thinking and talking, as well as producing work that is sharply assessable.
Outcomes
The participants will:
- understand the meaning of focused recording;
- be able to plan sequences of lessons with learning objectives that cover the Working Scientifically section of the National Curriculum;
- understand how to encourage pupils’ recording to produce meaningful ongoing assessments of their learning.
