Making it move: 40 practical ideas for your next primary science week RA952 / A09
Summary
Take the hassle out of planning your next science week and gather enough ideas to support every class for a whole week of events linked to forces and movement. The NC2014 has removed physics from KS1 to allow more time to explore plants, animals and the environment so this year the Lancashire Science Week support will be based on putting some physics back in to enrich your school curriculum.
Outcomes
Participants will:
- gain ideas to use in your next Primary Science Week all linked to the theme of Forces and Making It Move!
- explore over 40 practical ideas specific for EYFS, KS1, LKS2 and UKS2 classes at least 9 to 10 ideas for each age range
- gather some engaging, visual ideas for a WOW assembly to launch your event
- consider a focus for monitoring the IMPACT of your science week on learning, progress and attitudes to science
