Children must be given extended opportunities to participate in practical work which is relevant, challenging and set in a range of contexts.

During this course you will take part in activities that will develop your understanding and ability to recognise and plan for effective practical work across the primary years to support progression.


You will be able to: 

  • plan for appropriate and challenging practical work across the primary years
  • develop children’s ability to engage in practical work in different contexts
