Technician network RB607 / N1
Summary
Get together with fellow technicians in a relaxed environment. For this meeting we will be looking at microscale practicals and briefly discussing the senior technicians role in H&S, COSHH and technician training. Refreshments will be provided. Please bring along any microscale practical ideas you want to share. We will be joined by Sara, the rep from Scientific & Chemical who wants to show us some equipment.
This meeting will take place regardless of numbers but please confirm your attendance by booking a place.
If you are a senior technician, or aspiring to be, and want a more in depth session of H&S there is a meeting fully dedicated to this at Lady Manners School, Bakewell, on the 22nd June.
Outcomes
You will:
- receive updates and share current best practice
- consider ways in which technical support for science departments can be optimised
- establish a working brief for the network
- identify future training needs
