  • correct light-up and shut-down procedures

Outcomes

Recent serious incidents involving mobile oxy-fuel gas equipment have emphasised the need for employers and managers to review current safety training and practices. Employers should consider if skills training alone is sufficient to meet their obligations under the Health and Safety at Work Act. 90% of all flashback incidents occur as a result of incorrect light up procedure. This workshop ensures you understand the potential hazards and associated safety procedures in this vital area.
