Summary

This course focuses on a range of research based strategies to improve pupil outcomes.  Sessions include strategies to increase pupil motivation, use assessment I the most effective way, and the use of diagnostic tools to aid planning.  There will also be a chance to discuss how these techniques can be shared with colleagues back in school.

Outcomes

Participants will be able to:

  • articulate the different ways that assessment can be used to improve pupil progress
  • employ a range of strategies to develop use of assessment to support pupils
  • plan to support colleagues in developing their classroom assessment practices
