Primary STEM Conference RD124 / I04
Summary
Our primary conferences always provide outstanding learning opportunities linked to topical developments in primary science teaching along side time to talk and share ideas with other primary practitioners.
It is the year of engineering which gives schools the opportunity to review the curriculum and ensure it is wide and varied. Amanda Spielman’s address at the ASE conference stated ‘There are still too few schools that think deeply enough about how the curriculum works – from the material that is introduced, to the frequency and context in which it is revisited, learned and eventually mastered, and how links are made across the entirety of the curriculum'
This conference will provide you with the skills and confidence to make changes and to raise the profile of STEM subjects in your school. Keynote speaker is Ali Beaumont a primary Science consultant who supports schools in the South West and previously was the Primary Professional learning Manager at the STEM Learning Centre in AT-Bristol. It is a full day of expert CPD with refreshments and lunch provided and teachers can choose from a selection of practical workshops and tailor your day to suit your individual needs. This conference is suitable for all primary teachers, science leaders, consultants and head teachers.
