Exciting foundation phase science NW019 / B16
Summary
Science is a wonderful subject for inspiring young children. This two day course will support and develop those practitioners working in the foundation phase.
Before we can develop our children’s understanding in science, first we must encourage them to observe well and to think and talk about their observations. This course is packed full of relevant, eye-catching activities designed to challenge our youngest learners and to stimulate them into exploring the world around them.
Delegates will experience a range of safe and stimulating activities that explore the world inside and outside of the classroom. They will use carefully chosen materials such as ice, fabrics, liquids and modelling materials to intrigue and educate their young learners.
Each activity is linked to a range of enjoyable assessment for learning strategies that can further extend the enjoyment and help delegates follow their pupils’ learning.
This course will help you make your science more exciting and more relevant. So come along and learn how to make magic butter, rescue astronauts from giant hailstones, make your own lava lamps and much, much more!
