ESERO-UK secondary conference SV204 / A16
Summary
Ideal for secondary and post-16 computing, science and mathematics teachers who are interested in using space as an exciting context for learning, the annual ESERO-UK secondary space conference is being held alongside the UK Space Conference, and participants will be given free access and time to explore hundreds of stands and exhibitions.
Participants will be able to engage in activities linked ESA's ExoMars mission, Tim Peake's mission to the International Space Station and the upcoming James Webb Space Telescope.
Outcomes
You will be able to:
- understand how current space missions can provide an engaging context for teaching science, computing and mathematics
- take part in practical activities which you can deliver in the classroom
- improve your awareness of STEM careers in the rapidly growing UK space industry
