Summary

What are the current and proposed changes to the Applied Science curriculum?
What are the options available for post-16 Applied Science at L2 and L3?
How will this influence the Science curriculum post 16?

The meeting will include a brief presentation followed by short workshop activities and a discussion on the implications of curriculum changes for learning and assessment.

The meeting will be facilitated by Sharon Moore from the Regional Science Learning Centre consortium, a science educator with a particular interest in curriculum development. Sharon works as a consultant for DfE reviewing science qualifications and for Awarding organisations to develop science qualifications.

Audience:

The meeting will be of particular interest to Science leaders and STEM coordinators, responsible for  developing and delivering  the post-16 science curriculum There will be no charge for the meeting and all interested are welcome to attend
