The RPS has management functions and will normally be a member of the teaching staff, often the Head of Physics. Any teacher who uses radioactive sources will also benefit.

You will be able to:

  • use current legislation and guidance to use, monitor, store and dispose of radioactive sources safely
  • prepare and manage different types of radioactive sources, including for half-life investigations
