InDesign 301: black belt HC065 / K15
Summary
On this course you will learn about the most advanced techniques in Adobe InDesign. You will learn how to integrate your Photoshop and Illustrator artwork in your InDesign documents, creating interactive PDFs with table of contents, navigation elements, buttons and video, exporting SWF files with animated elements on the spreads, working with Live Captions, GREP, Quick Apply, Story Editor, Text Variables and so much more.
This course is recommended for those with a high level of experience using Adobe InDesign, and who are comfortable progressing with others of an advanced level.
Attendees must have a robust understanding of working with images and typography, using styles, mater pages and layers. It is advised that you complete the Indesign 101 yellow belt and 201 green belt courses first.
Outcomes
Upon completion of this course, you should be able to:
- use InDesigns advanced formatting features to style complex documents
- optimise documents for professional printing using preflight
- colour manage documents for a consistent workflow
- create TOC, index and dynamic image caption
- applying advanced table form
This course also helps you prepare for the Adobe Certified Expert (ACE) exam, which is the highest level of recognition for Adobe applications.
