Illustrator 201: green belt HC060 / F30
Summary
Understanding how to use Illustrators advanced features will revolutionise the way you work. This course will build upon the knowledge from Illustrator 101 by taking creation of simple illustrations to definitely more complex ones. You will go beyond the basics with features like filters and effects, explore more in depth typographical adjustments and the printing process of your layouts.
This course is recommended for graphic designers or people switching into a design job or taking on design responsibilities. They will have some previous experience with Adobe Illustrator.
Attendees should have already taken the Adobe Illustrator 101 training course or solid knowledge of topics covered in that workshop.
Outcomes
Upon completion of this course, you should be able to:
- further adjust Bezier curves by creating compound paths
- create custom brushes and various graphic style
- work with transparency and other raster effects like drop shadows
- accurately adjust type in an artwork
- prepare documents for composite and commercial printing
- enhance the workflow
- integration of Illustrator with the rest of Creative Suite
You will also be prepared for and take the Adobe Certified Associate (ACA) exam at the end of this course
