Bloodhounds and micro:bits
The current round of entries for the second Bloodhound `Race For The Line" model rocket car competition has been extended to 31st November. It is open to groups from Years 3 to 11. Each rocket powered car must carry a BBC micro:bit to record acceleration data. A new Micro:Bit Foundation has recently been set up to support the future development of the micro:bit. It is now exploring support for a pilot project for the new Student Digital Ambassador SDA programme to develop activities and resources for micro:bit use in STEM subject lessons, particularly in Years 7 and 8.
