An excellent opportunity has arisen within our Technical Team for a Electrical Engineering Technician. Working within our Engineering support team, you will provide technical support to both under and post graduate students in our Engineering labs. The School of Engineering sits within the Faculty of Technology and supports a number of electrical\electronic and mechanical engineering programmes.
You will work independently as well as being part of a technical team to support the engineering laboratories in the Faculty of Technology.
You will have the skills and knowledge of relevant techniques and equipment supporting academic delivery within Engineering, with a particular focus on Electrical and Electronic disciplines as well as a Degree in a Science Subject or substantial professional experience. You will have a customer service focus and experience of using electrical engineering and equipment such as multi meters, oscilloscopes and signal generators etc.
