0What's your career story so far? How did you get to be doing what you're doing, where you are doing it? I've met many amazing technicians over the years that I've worked with HEaTED and I don't think one of their stories is the same as another's - everyone has got to where they are by following their own path that's unique to them. What that means is that everyone has something to offer the rest of us - a different angle from which to view the variety of career and development options available to us.
The Network Event at Cranfield on 12th July gives a fantastic opportunity for some of those stories to be shared as well as giving us the chance to see some of the incredible techncial work and facilities at Cranfield. Some highlights to look forward to:
- view techncial equipment including a F1 Race car which is used for teaching and research purposes
- meet apprentices and hear about the work they are involved in
- talk with the Science Council about professional registration
- take part in our microscopy picture competition
- tours of Aircraft Integration Research Centre, Biomass Boiler, Plant Science Laboratory, Coatings Laboratory and Analytical Facility
- Lunch!
