Food and the Environment
Food and where it comes from have been a hot topic recently, with all of us asking questions about where the food we eat actually comes from. This resource helps Key Stage Two children learn about food, where it comes from and the issues that surround it such as: sustainability, fair trade, food miles, climate change and waste.
Children are asked to decide how to make a fish and chip shop as environmentally friendly as possibly. They then highlight their decisions in an online advertisement for the takeaway shop.
