I am a self employed D&T consultant and part of Boyd Education with my husband, Paul Boyd and together we train and support D&T teachers and departments. I have over 30 years experience in the classroom, including at senior leadership level. As well as being a qualified teacher I also have a post graduate qualification in executive coaching and mentoring. I have published several textbooks for D&T and regularly write articles for various D&T publications. As part of Boyd Education I run a website www.julieboyd.co.uk which publishes free resources to support D&T teachers and students.
