Gareth has been a Primary Teacher for nine years, with six being in York. He has worked mainly in Key Stage Two, and has been numeracy co-ordinator for a large school for the last four years.
Gareth attended the Educators @ Space Academy training in Huntsville, Alabama, and has since worked as a Space Ambassador for the Tim Peake Primary Project. In addition to this, he has also run "Space Days" in different primary schools, running inspirational and motivating workshops on heat shields, rocketry and filtration. He has also established a very successful STEM club at his school, and is now looking to broaden this across the city of York.
