CRCooper's public profile

Claire is currently a Year 4 Teacher and a Year3/4 Team Leader at Ryders Hayes Primary School. She leads on all things Science and STEM and is passionate about making links with science and STEM in a real-world context and creating aspirational opportunities for all pupils. Ryders Hayes is a Rolls-Royce Science and Technology Prize Finalist 2021-2022 and has created a STEM curriculum set in a real-world problem-solving context looking at how technology has changed over the years and imagining what it will be like 10 years in the future. The project was titled ‘How will technology help us live a more sustainable lifestyle?’ and uses SAM Labs to allow children to explore different scenarios of how technology works and how they might use it in the future such as autonomous cars and motion technology.
