BJL's public profile

I have taught for over 30 years in a range of secondary schools including , Middle schools, Technology Colleges, Academies, Grammar Schools and the Independent sector. I have been a Head of Design Technology, Senior Housemaster and Director of Pupil Welfare and have been part of the senior leadership team.

I have taught many different pathways through Design Technology, A level Electronics and OCR Computer Science. I was also a school’s inspector for a number of years. I am currently Chief Examiner for six GCSE papers, author of numerous GCSE and GCE textbooks and one of Ofquals subject experts. I have written and delivered national and international INSET programmes and spoken at teacher conferences. I have a real passion for combining all bits of the STEM world into real life problem solving.
