I have a confident, enthusiastic and positive approach to work, and when working under pressure I remain determined and focussed. I am a coaching style manager who can support and influence staff to reach their potential, work with employees to implement and improve processes, appraise employees’ skills against KPI’s and help them improve where needed, motivate employees to re-engage with corporate values, structure and manage change management processes and monitor budgets.

With over 20 years experience of teaching Maths to both first timers and retakes I have many different strategies in order to engage with students and help them achieve their potential. I have also been a senior GCSE Maths examination marker for an exam board for many years and understand how to assess and standardise marking within a department.

I frequently help train people on professional standards for teachers, behaviour management and safeguarding when needed.
