STEM Ambassador example videos
We know that sometimes it can be difficult to visualise what STEM Ambassadors actually do.
Even after speaking to colleagues who are old hands at delivering activities, questions can still remain. Why do I need to meet the teacher first? What if the students are bored? How do I make it relevant? Where do I get resources from?
Some STEM Ambassadors are able to go along to an activity with an experienced volunteer, to watch them in action. Unfortunately, this can be quite complicated to arrange, and if you don’t have much time, you might not want to take an extra afternoon off work.
This is why we have created a series of videos that will tell you everything you need to know. There are six films of STEM Ambassadors going into classrooms and STEM Clubs, presenting their own experiences.
