Geometrical patterns

This is a fascinating book for children who enjoy drawing and making patterns with ruler and compasses. The author explains how to draw plane figures - triangles, squares, rectangles, ellipses and the various polygons - and shows how stars with different number of points can be drawn using the principle of a circle with a square. There are also instructions for making solid figures, line patterns based on the plane figures and using pattern work in making solid figures.
