Materials: A Database, sponsored by British Steel and the Institute of Materials, is a computer database for Key Stage 2, 3 and 4 with supporting text. It provides a wide range of information on a variety of materials including wood, plastics, ceramics, textiles, ad metals. The data provides information about a material which can be accessed, and enables a material to be identified by keying in the properties. The resource supports all other Technology in Context resources.
