Earth history 1 and 2 (open university science foundation course)

The main aim of these two units is to give you some insight into the methods used to reconstruct events in the Earth's history. So far, we have devoted most of our attention to the structure and evolutions of the Earth's crust. Now we examine the Earth's surface, what past environments must have been like and how life may have originated on it.
