Course book 2 (the young scientist investigates)
This science programme consists of two course books, twenty project books, a teacher's manual and a teacher's book of practical work.
Each course book consists of a number of units of work grouped under three concept headings:
- Living Things
- Structures, forces and energy
- Change
On each double-page opening there are a number of follow up activities, some which can be completed through an understanding of the text and some which require further, guided research. At the end of each unit of work is an opening containing further activities and simple experiments.
