Using constructional materials

In this book, Michael Laxton takes a fresh look at all aspects of craft teaching. Dealing specifically with materials that can be used, he stresses that education myst familiarise children with those materials that make up their daily environment, that materials must be seen as agents through which children can extend their ideas, knowledge and experience, and that the children's own curiosity must be the starting point for their enquiry.
