Mathland: the expert version
Mathland is a problem-solving adventure. Pupils are given a problem to solve by an inhabitant of Mathland - the answer determines the next page they go to. The problems come from all areas of maths (apart from statistics) and are intended to stimulate both analytical and empirical approaches. The pupils also need to make an accurate map of their journey through Mathland. The map, when complete, can be read as a password which will permit an escape to be made. There is also a novice version of Mathland. A teacher's guide is available which contains the solutions to both versions.
