The Notices of the American Mathematical Society is aimed at professional mathematicians. As the magazine of record for the American Mathematical Society, Notices provides opportunities for mathematicians and students of mathematics to find out what is going on in their field and also publicises activities of the Society.
Each issue of Notices contains high-level expository articles, written by STEM professionals, that describe current developments in research. Notices also regularly features AMS Surveys and Reports on industry trends, academia, and research; Invitations to get involved, Calls for Nomination, and News & Announcements from the AMS as well as other mathematics institutions; Opinion pieces on professional issues facing mathematicians, Reviews of books, plays, movies, and other artistic and cultural works involving mathematics, and upcoming national and international Meetings and Conferences of interest to the readership.
