Combining science and design and technology, this title examines the technology of the electrical gadgets we use every day. A scientific explanation with the help of annotated diagrams and illustrations is followed by examples of gadgets that make use of the technology. Gadgets and technologies examined and explained include touch screens, remote controls, DVD players and photo copiers.
