Green design

Increasing concern for the environment and resulting legislation, at national and international levels, confront business and industry with both opportunities and threats. Green Design provides an accessible introduction to the information available on environmentally safe technology.

The book demystifies the arguments for and against industrial and technological solutions, analysing the central issues chapter by chapter and citing the failures and successes of manufacturers in addressing environmental problems. A useful list of information sources on materials processes and legislation is included.
