Pod's mission, science year 4

Pod's Mission is a wide-ranging, one-stop resource for Year 4 Science, covering key areas across the science curriculum. In comical, animated sequences, two friendly robots, help Annie to find out more about the world.

Pod visits numerous locations using the BBC's vast film archive.

Children will be encouraged to: communicate ideas by the use of appropriate scientific vocabulary and accurate description
become actively involved in prediction and decision-making
use questioning methods.
Pack includes:

A 48-page teacher's booklet, with key teaching points, classroom activities, notes on weekly game and investigation, and photocopiable copymasters for the game and investigation
three A1 colour posters on different themes to reflect the programmes. Penny Coltman, an Early Years specialist and lecturer, is an experienced primary maths writer. She has also developed an award-winning range of equipment for teaching primary maths.
