SMP 16-19: revision
The aim of 16-19 Mathematics has been to produce a course which, while challenging, is accessible and enjoyable to all students. The course develops ability and confidence in mathematics and its applications, together with an appreciation of how mathematical ideas help in the understanding of the world and society in which we live.
This book contains revision material for the units Foundations, Introductory Calculus, Functions, Mathematical Methods and Calculus Methods. The material therefore, covers the syllabuses for the final written papers for the A and AS courses, Mathematics (Pure with Applications). For each chapter of each unit, a summary of the main concepts is followed by worked examples and questions for the student.
There is also a miscellaneous exercise for each unit. Solutions for all exercises are given at the back of the book. Revision is an invaluable guide for anyone preparing for the 16-19 Mathematics, Mathematics (Pure with Applications) examination, but students of other A-level courses may also find it helpful.
