Beginning science: chemistry

'Beginning science: chemistry' is for use during the first three years of secondary education and provides a foundation for GCSE. It introduces the ideas, apparatus, and methods of chemistry, and describes a wide range of chemical reactions and techniques, wherever possible relating chemical principles to everyday life.
