System security
This task gives students the opportunity to consider the wider implications of unauthorised access to the computer systems of a logistics business. Students are asked to investigate the main areas covered by the Computer Misuse Act and techniques used by hackers to access a company's data and systems. Students are then asked to take on the role of a trainer in a logistics company who has to write a report about the content needed in a training session to staff on why system security is important and the role employees can take in keeping a company's security system secure.
The activity includes:
- teacher notes
- adaptable presentation
- adaptable student activity sheet
- suggested solutions
