Chicken Coop Maths - EAL
This resource support the learning of the language associated with pattern and number sequences. The aim is for students to:
- To identify patterns within certain sequences of numbers;
- To determine whether certain sequences of numbers follow given rules;
- To extend those sequences of numbers according to the given rules.
Vocabulary covered:
Double meaning words: a rule, a pattern, a table, a column, a row
Maths phrases: twice as many, one less than, one more than
General words: to double, to multiply, to add, a result
