RADAAR framework - How I teach maths in science
This infographic guide to teaching 11-16 year olds uses the RADAAR (research, anticipate, diagnose, address, assess, review) framework developed by the Best Evidence Science Teaching (BEST) project based at the University of York.
It highlights common misconceptions encountered in multiplication and area calculations, and shows how diagrams can be used to support understanding. It gives ideas for diagnostic questions and how to check understanding by applying the ideas in context.
