Epilepsy resources (and Illuminating the Self activities)
This resource introduces students to the topic of epilepsy. Activities include comprehension tasks and word searches of key words and exploring brain seizures through artistic interpretation. The Illuminating the Self activities encourage artistic input and students create a piece of art connected to brain activity. A documentary outlines two artists who have explored the brain through art and produced an exhibition as a stimulus. Templates are provided for students to plan their own artwork.
